General Job Description
Interacts daily with Couriers/Sales/Customer Service to coordinate load volumes for domestic services.
Monitors loading and unloading of trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Formulates alternate plans as needed to include additional trucks.
Coordinates any delays, overflows, cancellations, and re-routes to ensure on time arrivals and departures.
Leads and provides support to cargo handling employees.
Coordinates and monitors split and routing of freight through interline (passenger airlines) and feeders to ensure on time arrival of cargo to final destination.
Completes and maintains updated records of all related paperwork.
Generates reports regarding levels on operational service metrics (OSM).
May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education
College degree preferred.
