Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist

This is a fixed term post comprised of 8 Direct Clinical Activities and 2 Supporting Professional Activities providing outpatient Hepatology, inpatient Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Endoscopy services. The post-holder will be on call for acute gastrointestinal bleeding rota currently covering both THH and Harefield Hospital on a 1 week in 7-8 basis, dependent upon recruitment. This attracts 1 PA included within the DCC allocation. The intention would be to remove the Harefield commitment from the department in the future, with a consequent 0.5 PA reduction each. There is an availability uplift for on-call from THHFT (currently 5%). There is no General Medical on call commitment for this post. Applicants must hold a CCT in Gastroenterology and GIM or be within 6 months of CCT to be eligible to apply for the post.
