Job Description
Position: 0.6 FTE – Part‑Time Contract (6 months) at Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre.
General Responsibilities
The Physician provides comprehensive, primary health care emphasizing accessibility, health promotion, illness prevention, and continuity of care for a diverse client population, including families, children, refugees, people experiencing homelessness, and other individuals within the urban catchment. The physician functions independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Majority of work will be based at the Parkdale site with possible work across sites.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide primary care directly, emphasizing accessibility, health promotion, illness prevention, and continuity of care.
- Provide primary care indirectly by collaborating with nurse practitioners, offering consultation to nurses or other staff, and assisting in developing medical or clinical protocols.
