Main Responsibilities of the position:
- Track shipments as requested and pull together all documentation, pictures, invoice values and file claims for loss or damage via an integrated 4PL claims program.
While following company and government deadlines for processing claims.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple internal teams, a few are sales, service, legal/risk, finance, parts, and logistics to manage the asset and all costs until it is repaired, recovered, or written off.
- Support the global transportation delivered quality program by leading our transport claims program and closing the loop with quality, recovery, and mitigation strategies.
- Negotiating claims settlements in a timely manner.
- Cooperate with engineering, materials, shipping, and our carriers to improve packaging where needed.
