Job Description
- Coordinate shipments end-to-end, ensuring timely execution across cross-border and domestic lanes.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, carriers, and agents to ensure smooth information flow.
- Prepare and send shipment pre-alerts, status updates, and client reports.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while maintaining service quality and reliability.
- Monitor shipments closely, providing real-time updates and resolving delays or exceptions quickly.
- Issue and review Bills of Lading and shipping documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Arrange pickups and coordinate with carriers to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements.
- Manage invoicing, approve payables, and reconcile costs in line with financial procedures.
- Track and follow up on Proofs of Delivery, ensuring timely file closure.
- Handle claims and shipment exceptions in accordance with company policies. <...
