As a permanent Recreation Specialist, you will enhance the lives of residents through thoughtful programming and recreational activities. Your role involves organizing events, facilitating outings, and maintaining a nurturing environment for residents. This position reports directly to the Recreation and Development Manager and requires a person-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee resident recreational events and outings
• Encourage active participation in community activities
• Manage monthly budgets and report on resident attendance
• Maintain strong communication within the team
• Adapt activities to fit residents’ cognitive and physical needs
