The Opportunity
The Machinist Technician is primarily responsible for evaluating and diagnosing causes for Electric motors and gearboxes and repairs. Millwright experience is asset.
The Role
- Complete dismantle and inspection of Electric motors, Electric Generators and other mechanical equipment. As well complete a comprehensive Inspection and test report with accurate measurements related to these components.
- Take pictures during job process
- Build, repair, service, and troubleshoot various motors and generators.
- Tests rebuild components or systems to acceptable results.
- Always maintain cleanliness of shop and work area to ensure the maintenance of a safe work environment, performing various cleaning and maintenance duties as required
- Participate in monthly safety meetings.
- Follow Quality Assurance and Safety programs.
