Manager – Assurance
Locations: Salmon Arm, Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops.
Responsibilities
- Review assurance and non‑assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed.
- Plan, supervise and execute assurance and non‑assurance engagements.
- Prepare financial statements, conduct due diligence, participate in capital‑raising services and tax services for assurance and non‑assurance clients.
- Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basis.
- Address client issues timely, following BDO Policy, using strong technical skills and accounting experience.
- Apply industry/business knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues relevant to the client’s business.
