OVERVIEW
Island Return It operates bright, clean, and well‑organized recycling centres across Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island. Our goal is simple: make recycling a genuinely positive experience so more people choose to do it. As Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day operations, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and be the driving force behind a team of 2–5 staff members.
What you’ll do
- Plan, organize, and oversee all daily operations including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and motivate a small team—recruiting, training, and creating a positive work environment
- Handle cash and bank orders accurately; complete daily reports and administrative paperwork
