Job Description
Position: Mechanical Assembler
Dayshift: 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday
Payrate: to per hour (DOE)
Permanent after 3 months of probation
Our client is a roll forming equipment manufacturer. They are looking for Mechanical Assemblers to add to their Custom Machine shop
DUTIES
Assemble a variety of machinery and equipment by reading blueprints, bills of material and traveler.
Operate hand tools and portable powered hand tools.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems on mechanical sub-assemblies and main machine assembly by using problem solving techniques.
Operate a forklift and/or crane to move heavy objects.
Use measuring tools to meet very precise tolerances.
Provide updates to engineering department so drawings can be changed to reflect changes made during the assembly process.<...
