Job Description
Under the direction and guidance of the registered nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Physician performs a variety of clinical/ clerical duties and tasks to provide effective patient care. Maintains the environment, equipment and supplies. This position will primarily support the clinical operations of the Pediatric and OBGYN services.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required - HS Diploma or Equivalence
License(s) Required- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
Experience/Skills Required - One (1) year previous experience in a medical setting of two (2) years relevant experience required. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of Computer Technology preferred. Successful completion of Barnabas Hospital orientation.
