Become a key player in Tourism Burnaby's tourist initiatives as a Mobile Visitor Activations Supervisor. Lead engaging community activations at festivals and events this summer.
This seasonal contract role is perfect for an organized and outgoing individual with experience in event activations. You will oversee on-site activations, manage interns, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere that showcases Tourism Burnaby's brand. Collaborating with the Senior Manager and marketing team, your efforts will help drive participation and engagement at various local events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute event setup and takedown
• Create welcoming experiences for visitors at activations
• Engage with attendees and capture event data
• Drive Tourism Burnaby's mobile visitor van
• Supervise and guide interns and support staff
Requirements:
• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
• 4-5 years of event marketing experience
