Job Description
Senior Municipal Engineer: This role drives the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects across multiple office locations in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities
- Support all GEMTEC locations across Atlantic Canada, including traveling as needed.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, and tender documents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective design solutions.
- Review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
- Support construction administration activities, including site inspections and responding to contractor inquiries.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and review detailed civil design plans.
- Communicate with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with expectations.
