Overview
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP. Employer: Municipality of Jasper. Position: Finance Clerk (Temporary, Full-Time). Position Duration: Temporary. Wage Range: $29.40 to $31.81 Hourly.
This position will begin immediately with an expected end date of February 3, 2026. Support the day-to-day financial operations of the Municipality to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounts payable, purchasing, and encumbrance functions within the municipal financial system, ensuring approvals and budget limits are followed.
- Receive, verify, and process invoices, requisitions, and payments.
- Maintain vendor files and work with vendors to resolve payment issues.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, accounts payable trial balances, and corporate credit cards.
