Responsibilities
- Ensure correct classification and regulatory compliance of imported spare parts under Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) and other non‑tariff regulations.
- Support a compliant and smooth import operation for spare parts.
- Interpret technical specifications and assign accurate Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes.
- Fulfill all regulatory requirements to prevent non‑compliance and avoid import delays due to NOMs.
- Identify applicable NOMs and non‑tariff regulations for imported spare parts based on their characteristics and intended use.
- Ensure each imported part meets the requirements established by Mexican regulations.
- Review labels, documentation, and certification necessary for import approval.
- Maintain updated records of applicable NOMs and corresponding compliance documentation.
