Nursing Support Worker
We have an opportunity for a Nursing Support Worker to join our dedicated team on Ward 19&20, Royal Glamorgan Hospital, which is an Acute Stroke Unit.
We are looking for reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the team.
The role requires working under the direction of the registered nurse, ensuring high standards of care are provided and maintained at all times.
You will be responsible for providing care for patients who require assistance with all activities of daily living including washing, dressing, mobilising, feeding and pressure area care. The successful candidate will also complete documentation to an acceptable standard and assist in keeping the ward area clean and clutter free.
Applicants must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to use their own initiative and be flexible regarding shift patterns.
