Job Description
We are a geospatial software company based in Ireland looking to establish contact with a specialist developer or data scientist for an upcoming environmental project.
We need someone with specific experience in visualizing the results of oceanographic models, particularly Lagrangian dispersion models (MOHID experience is a significant advantage).
The Role:
Assist in development of a web-based platform that requires high-performance visualization of particle trajectories and coastal accumulation trends. You would be helping us bridge the gap between scientific model outputs (NetCDF/HDF5) and fluid, user-friendly map interactions.
Technical Interests:
Experience handling multidimensional scientific datasets (xarray/NetCDF).
Proven track record visualising particle movement or flow data.
Familiarity with GPU-accelerated web mapping tools (e.g., , WebGL, or MapLibre) is highly desirable.
Understanding of marine beaching parameters or Land Interaction Masks (LIM) is...
