As a psychiatrist in a 23-bed Schedule One Facility, you will assess and treat mental illnesses through multiple modalities, including medication and psychotherapy. The position includes opportunities for teaching and professional growth within the program, allowing you to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-call psychiatric services based at OSMH (1 in 4)
• Consult with regional partners and hospital staff effectively
• Conduct outpatient consultations tailored to patient needs
• Participate in strategic planning for psychiatry services
• Engage in hospital committees for quality improvement
Requirements:
• CPSO unrestricted license for practicing in Ontario
• Fellowship or Certification in Psychiatry from RCPSC
