Electrician (Antarctica)
Electrician is overall responsible for the administration and maintenance of all electrical/electronic installations, machinery automation, navigation, communication system onboard and ordering of spare parts for these components. He/she is also responsible for, and being sure costs are held at or below budgets.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of all electrical equipment
- Preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment
- Cyber Security matters
- Order spares using the purchasing ERP system
- Keep inventory up to date at all time
- Make reports as required and requested
- Create hand over notes to oncoming Electrician
- Make weekly reports
- Report in ShipAdmin
- Supervise the Electrician Assistant
Qualifications
- Certified ETR/ETO
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writte...
