Join Open Farm as a Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionist focused on creating premium pet food. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, nutrition, and compliance in pet products.
In this vital role, you will work alongside our Head of Veterinary Nutrition to develop, optimize, and review recipes for our premium line of pet foods. You will guide formulation for dry, wet, and canned products, ensuring all recipes meet strict ingredient and safety standards. Additionally, you will provide support for marketing and educate customers about pet nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and approve nutritionally balanced pet food recipes
• Collaborate with internal teams for informed product recommendations
• Ensure compliance with AAFCO, USDA, and FDA regulations
• Maintain quality assurance and ingredient sourcing standards
