Position Purpose:
The incumbent will support the best interests and needs of Veolia by providing professional service to our wastewater customers. The Operation and Maintenance Tech does so in the wastewater treatment plant operation and collection system functions. The Operation and Maintenance Tech - Wastewater is a multi-tasking employee who assures that the treatment plant is operating at maximum efficiency, maintains all appurtenances associated with lift stations and collection system and performs field customer service. The Operations and Maintenance Tech will also assist Operators, provide relief as necessary and be part of the rotational on-call team.
The incumbent must have a strong technical knowledge of and hands-on experience working in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant facilities (preferred), basic/advanced knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, hydraulic an...
