Henderson County EMS is a progressive 911 EMS agency that currently staffs nine dual-paramedic EMS units. Our department serves two local hospitals, one regional trauma center and is supported by a separate agency that handles all convalescent transports. Working 12-hour shifts, our medics can enjoy their time off hiking, biking, and enjoying all the activities that the mountains of western North Carolina have to offer. Did we mention full-time personnel are guaranteed 8 consecutive days off a month?!
