Job Purpose
Contribute to the integration, interdependence and self-reliance of children and young people, and their families. Services include assisting parents to develop childcare and parenting skills, referring clients to appropriate community services, and introducing clients to positive social and recreational activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess and plan services (Individualized Service Plan) to identify client’s personal issues and individual choices for the protection, care, and treatment of their children.
- Introduce clients to positive recreational and social activities and appropriate community resources and develop routines and activities that are safe, enjoyable, and stimulating.
