The Philosophy Department of Fordham University accepts applications for part‑time Non‑Tenure Track (NTT) faculty to teach in its Philosophy of Human Nature and Philosophical Ethics classes on a rolling basis. Based on scheduling needs as well as qualifications and availability, successful candidates may be offered up to two sections of Philosophy of Human Nature, a required Core course that focuses on central metaphysical and epistemological questions surrounding human nature, with readings from classical thinkers such as Plato and Descartes along with thinkers from under‑represented groups in philosophy; or Philosophical Ethics, which focuses on major normative ethical theories underlying moral decision‑making in our everyday lives, with readings fro...
