Join Forest View Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a part-time Psych RN focusing on weekend night shifts. Deliver specialized nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders.
This weekend night shift role includes a commitment to supporting patients dealing with mood, anxiety, and thought disorders. The Psych RN will actively develop treatment plans and provide crisis management. Candidates should have a solid grasp of psychiatric nursing principles and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan nursing care for patients upon admission
• Direct crisis management efforts among staff
• Guide new RNs in patient care procedures
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for patients
• Collaborate on discharge planning with patients
Requirements:
• Accredited nursing school graduation
• Preferred 6-12 months of psychiatric nursing experience
• Active RN licensure in Michigan
• Clinical competency in general nursing care
