Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70, to $85, per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Record and reconcile payroll related general ledger activity including journal entries accruals and balance sheet accounts.
Support payroll processing cycles by posting payroll entries and coordinating with payroll teams across regions.
Prepare and manage payroll tax benefit and wage accruals including retirement and reimbursement programs.
Participate in month end close by reviewing reconciliations supporting documentation and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with accounting finance and payroll partners to improve processes and complete special projects as assigned.
