Overview
Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join our team in Medicine Hat, AB . This role supports 7 stores in the Medicine Hat area; 15 minutes commute between stores.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
- Administer vaccines and immunizations
- Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
- Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
- Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
