Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Reports to: Pharmacy Manager FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Job Summary: To work under the supervision of a pharmacist to deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist pharmacist in labeling and filling prescriptions;
- Assist patients in dropping off and picking up prescriptions;
- Entering prescriptions into the computer;
- Verify that customer receives correct prescription(s);
- Scheduling and maintaining workflow;
- Prepackage bulk medications;
- Screen calls for pharmacists;
