Job Description

Enhance maternal child health advocacy at Grand Council Treaty #3 as a Policy Analyst. Promote traditional practices and develop community-focused birthing solutions.
Reporting to the health managers, you will engage with community members, facilitate birthing gatherings, and build partnerships within the health sector. This role emphasizes collaboration and education to improve health outcomes for families. You will also promote access to gender affirming reproductive health services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize community engagement and training sessions
• Oversee birthing gatherings and doula training
• Advocate for traditional wellness practices
• Create educational materials on reproductive health
• Manage communications through various platforms
Requirements:
• Degree in health sciences or social sciences
• Knowledge of Indigenous health and traditions
• Proven ability to build consensus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
