Post-doctoral position in global detection techniques for radicals in air
Academic Positions
Job Description
Job description
Oxygenated organic radicals are key drivers of the chemistry in many systems, such as the metabolism of living organisms, polymerisation, combustion systems, and the natural environment (Earths atmosphere). But very few techniques can detect them today, especially in complex systems. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to develop and apply global detection techniques for oxygenated radicals in ambient air and other complex systems. The work will include both the operation and troubleshooting of existing techniques, such as chemical amplification, and the development and characterization of entirely new techniques, to be used both in laboratory and in ambient air. This position will be in the Nozière group at the Department of Chemistry of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
