The Synergetic Mechanisms in High-Precision Expertise (SyMPeX) project is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to help redefine how expertise is measured, modeled, and trained.
What you will work on as a Postdoctoral Researcher:
You will operate at the intersection of:
- Wearable & biometrics sensors
- Machine learning / AI / Data processing
- Surgical skill assessment
Your mission is to design and deploy surgical-data pipelines for autonomous microsurgical training and operating room environments.
Qualifications and requirements
You might be a great fit if you have:
- PhD (or near completion) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, HCI, or related
- Strong programming skills (Python, data pipelines, signal processing, ML)
- Experience with sensor data / wearable systems / behavioral data
- Experience in quantitative research
