Title: Poultry Farm Worker – NOC 8431 (Chicken and Turkey Catcher)
Job Code: 8431
Salary: $19.03 per hour for a 40‑hour week or piecework, whichever is greater. Overtime available.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock and poultry.
- Operate and maintain poultry‑related machinery and equipment.
- Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
- Follow food safety, security, and animal bio‑security procedures.
- Clean and disinfect work sites and poultry equipment.
- Travel to other farm locations as required at the employer's expense.
