Influence patient care as a Registered Nurse at UHN's Preadmission Clinic located in Toronto General Hospital. This permanent, full-time role focuses on pre-op assessments and patient education.
UHN seeks an experienced nurse to join its dedicated team. In this position, you will complete comprehensive patient assessments, ensuring adherence to the highest professional standards. You will also educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and work to enhance overall patient outcomes through effective communication and clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete systematic pre-operative assessments for patients
• Analyze ECG and lab test results for patient evaluations
• Educate patients and families on surgical processes
• Maintain compliance with UHN's professional nursing standards
• Engage in continuing education to advance professional skills
Requirements:
• Active Ontario nursing registration required
• BScN is mandatory
