Aircraft Preflight Mechanic (AME M2)
Responsibilities
- Perform all preflight operations on aircraft between final assembly and customer acceptance, including functional checks and engine runs, using the necessary tools and equipment.
- Carry out and certify work associated with the building of an aircraft from early development stages through to final assembly and pre‑delivery activities.
- Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft systems and structures as required by internal procedures and regulatory standards.
- Complete all required inspection reports, log entries, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve mechanical and system issues identified during preflight and engine run operations.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to perform work to specification.
