Duties of Position
Clinical expectations and responsibilities for Primary Care Paramedics are based on the current National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP) for Primary Care Paramedics, Paramedic Association of New Brunswick registration requirements as well as Ambulance NB policies, procedures and protocols.
Our paramedics provide medical support to patients on scene and en route to hospitals. Given the unpredictability of clinical presentations in the field, they are skilled in emergency techniques and well‑versed in various medical treatments. First on scene in times of crisis, they don’t leave until the job’s done.
Required Qualifications
- You are entitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or work permit)
- Must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently as a member of the team and be able to work all shifts as assigned, maintaining a good attendance record
