Process Automation Supervisor
Serve as working leader for a group of automation and controls engineers driving new equipment & system introductions, process improvements and cost reduction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead team of Automation and Controls engineers in the development startup, and scaleup of high‑volume discreet manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and maintain learning plans for engineering team.
- Provide controls and mechanical engineering expertise in support of new equipment & system introductions, cost reductions, maintenance, and productivity improvements.
- Interface with external system integrators and machine builders to successfully deliver fully integrated automation equipment to Corning's plants on‑time, on‑budget, and that satisfy performance measures.
