What you'll do
Job Summary
Supervises the daily activities and assignments of the Product Line Support (PLS) engineering team.
Performs complex engineering related assignments often requiring development of new or improved products, process, or techniques.
Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests, products, and equipment.
Develops yearly strategic plans aligned with Division Engineering and LP operations.
Job Responsibilities
Supervises the day-to-day activities of the PLS engineering team (Lead Engineers, Master Designers, Supervisors).
Reports status on PLS team assignments, prioritizes engineering requests, projects, and engineering to various cross‐functional teams based on business needs.
Supports the engineering aspects of cost‐out activities.
Ensures the proper design procedures and processes of the engineering team.
