**Overview**
**Job Title: Production Planner**
**Job Location: Melville, NY** **(100% onsite)**
**Salary: $75,000-$100,000/yr**
**Responsibilities**
+ Execute, plan, and control programs through operations (manufacturing, test, quality, supply chain, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of products to the customer.
+ Coordinate and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments, and communicates with various department managers/supervisors, to resolve any material/subassembly issues.
+ Report program status and schedule at meetings.
+ Perform complex transactions in MRP system. Compiles and maintains MRP generated reports and Excel spreadsheets of Work In Process (WIP) status including location of material, shortages, open sales orders, material delivery dates and Can-Build status.
+ Prepare purchase requisitions by calculating lead-time, floor scrap, minimum ordering level and set-up factors, to schedule part...
