Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversees and organizes all operational activities during normal production for the responsible area.
- Leads all team members to implement production safely, efficiently, and accurately based on safety regulations, standard operating procedures, checklists, quality standards, production plans, and related documents.
- Assists with the implementation of lean methodology and health, safety & environment practices.
- Coordinates maintenance issues with the maintenance department and oversees safety during maintenance when necessary.
- Works with other personnel to complete equipment isolation, flushing, replacement, inspection, commissioning, and related activities.
- Communicates with team members on all issues.
- Provides performance evaluation input to the supervisor.
- May serve as backup for positions in a shift group.
