The Department of Information Engineering (IE) has multiple tenure-track faculty openings at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. In particular, we are looking for strong candidates in the areas of artificial intelligence (broadly defined), internet of things (broadly defined), and optical communications (design and experimental research of the next-generation optical fiber transmission/access networks, optical-wireless terrestrial/underwater systems, etc.). We will also consider outstanding candidates in other areas of information engineering to supplement our existing strength in communication systems, networking, information theory, security, and deep learning research.
