Your mission, roles and responsibilities


The role of the Program Buyer is to anticipate the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), ensure the commodity panel strategy is FACTURE N° F-- appropriate to support the program, select and pilot suppliers from the agreed supplier panel in order to achieve Program objectives. The Program Buyer belongs to the core program team.

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manages supplier RFQ based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers. Negotiate or participate with the Commodity Buyers in supplier negotiations and in the final choice of supplier.
