Job Overview
GHD is seeking a Program Manager - Mining to join our Environmental Assessment and Remediation Group. The role is focused on leading mine waste management, closure, decommissioning, mining hydrology, hydrogeology, and construction/yellow iron capabilities across multiple projects.
Location & Work Mode
Hybrid work: office, three days a week. The role can be based in Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Edmonton, Halifax, Fredericton, St. John’s, Calgary, or Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an integrated program plan for mining‑related environmental work, including closure, waste management, and supporting technical disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant mining laws, environmental regulators, and consent order requirements; drive readiness to meet cleanup criteria.
