Your Contribution:
As the . Project Buyer you will be part of the . Purchasing Team for compressors, motors, and pumps. You will interface regularly with the Program Management Team, and Engineering Team. You will help support the preparation of material costs and vendor tooling estimates for Acquisitions. You will be responsible for tracking performance to these material cost estimates and project timelines once the business is won. This role includes sending RFQs to bid list suppliers, working cross-functionally to evaluate supplier offerings/capabilities, negotiating the cost for components, working through the Mahle sourcing process, presenting at the sourcing table, and ultimately negotiating supply agreements with the selected supplier(s).
