Job Description
Gain hands-on project management experience as a Student Project Coordinator intern with Bird Construction in Sudbury, ON. Coordinate and contribute to construction projects in a collaborative setting.
The position is available for 4, 8, or 12 months starting in September 2026. In this role, you will engage in project coordination tasks including reviewing trade quotes, supervising sub-trades, and updating schedules. You will learn to manage tasks within a friendly, dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate drawings and oversee specific trade scopes
• Review material quantities and maintain accurate logs
• Take progress photos and conduct site inspections
• Set up record keeping for project documentation
• Update and create project schedules
Requirements:
• Enrollment in an engineering program related to Civil, Mechanical, or Structural disciplines
• At least one semester left post-internship
