Psychiatric Opportunity
This opportunity is full-time, 40 hours per week, with on-call. The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA. The Meadows is a 119 inpatient behavioral health hospital and has been providing comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults for 40 years.
This position is responsible for:
- Providing therapeutic services to clients and their families at The Meadows and as needed in the clinic and community setting.
- Developing treatment plans by determining nature and extent of cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders; establishing treatment goals and methodologies.
- Maintaining interdisciplinary treatment by reviewing treatment plans and progress; consulting and collaborating with primary care physicians, mental health therapists, nurses, and...
