Responsibilities
- Supports the Procurement team in an administrative role.
- Assists with preparation and distribution of appropriate purchase contract documents (e.g., Major Purchase Orders (MPO), rental / lease agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements (ICA) and service contracts) on behalf of the department.
- Proactively expedites and follows up on all aspects of the contract process with internal and external customers and tracks contract discrepancies, documentation and certificates, outstanding or overdue contracts.
- Develops and maintains a well-organized electronic filing system.
- Creates and maintains templates for forms, letters, tracking spreadsheets, etc.
- Develops and maintains customer-focused working relationships with suppliers, internal and external customers, and projects.
