MAJOR FUNCTION
: The Delinquency Prevention Specialist works within the Office of Prevention Services in Northwest FL. This position will serve in the assigned areas within Northwest Florida. The position coordinates and communicates with Office of Prevention Services management and stakeholders on concerns related to delinquency prevention and assists, when necessary, in carrying out duties and responsibilities of other Prevention Services activities. This position requires a flexible work schedule due to some weekends and after hours (evening) work.Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provides Prevention Services to youth and community events. Develops and maintains effective partnerships and affiliations with local community organizations.
