Job Title: Regional Licensing Officer
Location: Lethbridge or Taber
Hours: 36.25 hours per week (full time)
Classification: Human Services Worker 3
Salary: $66,112–$85,208 per year (bi‑weekly $2,533.03–$3,264.69)
Responsibilities
- Review and process applications for licenses or license renewals.
- Complete environmental safety assessments.
- Inspect and monitor compliance for all licensed facilities; conduct regular inspections and audits of licensed facilities to assess compliance with regulatory standards, including the Children, Youth and Family Enhancement Act, Residential Facilities Licensing Regulation, Enhancement Policy, contracts, agreements, and agency policies.
- Assist in identifying emerging issues in the region, assess potential impacts, develop action plans, and recommend and implement mitigation strategies to address areas of non‑compliance.
