About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is hiring Registered Cardiology Technologists across the province. The Registered Cardiology Technologist performs the following noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests: Electrocardiograms, Signal Average Electrocardiograms, Ambulatory Monitoring (Holter Scanning/Interpretation Event Loop Recorder), and physician-assisted Exercise Tolerance Testing (Stress Testing). The Technologist prepares patients for ambulatory monitoring which is a non-invasive monitoring device worn by patients for 24 hours (Holter) or several weeks (Loop). The Technologist is responsible for preparing patients requiring stress and tilt table testing, performing stress tests under the direct supervision of the Cardiologist.
