Job Description
Performs Echo imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and departmental guidelines. Prepares and transports patients as necessary. Prepares imaging equipment, room, and images, as need for interpretation. Verifies and completes studies in RIS and PACS. Maintains Quality Control on Equipment as Instructed.
Responsibilities
1. Performs complete study including M MODE, REAL TIME, COLOR FLOW MAPPING and DOPPLER.
2. Obtains permanent records of examination.
3. Participates in reading with physician and contributes professional knowledge to final diagnostic impression or report.
4. Daily recording, copying and filing of examinations performed.
5. Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job related hazards.
